    Event Description:
    Like last year, Fins Bar & Grille is helping local nonprofit organizations with its Social Sunday Events in February and March, and once again, the Equity professional East Lynne Theater Company is pleased to be one of the recipients. ELTC, listed as one of the top 75 summer theaters in North America in “The New York Times". Enjoy brunch, listen to live music provided by Fins, and meet ELTC staff, board members, volunteers and friends. ELTC receives 50% of the earned revenue from the brunch. Raffle tickets will be available for the 2017 Great Escape Vacation: $5 for one ticket or $20 for five. The drawing will be at the theater’s November 6 fundraiser at Aleathea’s Restaurant, and participants need not be present to win. This year, the “escape” choices are Rome, a Royal Caribbean Cruise, Napa Valley with a hot air balloon trip, and Key West. The retail value for these trips for 2 is up to $6,500. Also on hand will be 2017 Season Tickets for shows running through mid-December. Information about the season and how to become more involved with this unique theater company, will be available. ELTC’s educational outreach involves a staged reading performance of “Revolution!,” plays written and performed by 5th and 6th grade students at West Cape May Elementary School on Wednesday, March 15 at 5:30, and the Summer Student Theater Workshop in June and July. Students are already signing up for the Workshop, and applications will be available at Fins. ELTC’s staff and members of the board thank Jeff Gernitis, owner of Fins, not only for supporting this 37-year-old theater, but for also helping other nonprofits in Cape May. It would be impossible to do what all the nonprofits do, without support from the neighbors.
