    Date: May 11, 2016 - May 21, 2016
    Event Description:
This East Lynne Theater Company production was so popular in 2015 that it returns in 2016 with Tom Byrn reprising the role of the President. The Lincolns were enjoying a comedy at Ford?s Theatre when John Wilkes Booth entered the President?s box. In Herbert Mitgang?s play, Lincoln?s life flashes before him, from his early days as a lawyer, to President of the United States as Booth aims his pistol. ?Mr. Byrn evokes the spirit of Lincoln,? said reviewer Howard Shapiro for WHYY Public TV and Radio. This marks Tom?s seventh show with ELTC. Others include the highly acclaimed "Lost on the Natchez Trace" and "Within the Law." The production travels to Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble in Pennsylvania after the run in Cape May.
